Black Coffee Lab — Restaurant in Querétaro

Coffee was not great. Ordered a flat white (not great). So I tried the cold brew, which was acceptable (but also neither good nor great). Skip the food (Nothing to write home about because it was overall just bland—it will “fill your stomach” but that’s it). The only good thing: this is a comfortable cafe to get work done, though the Internet was terribly slow. I ended up using my phone data which was far more reliable. There’s definitely room for this cafe to improve and I hope it does, because the space is nice looking, they just need to master...

¡Qué experiencia tan decepcionante!

Había oído maravillas sobre el delicioso café veracruzano en un local del centro histórico de Querétaro, con su tostado medio especial. Sin embargo, mi visita resultó en una gran decepción. Pedí un cappuccino y un avocado toast, además de un agua fría. Para mi sorpresa, ¡no tenían agua fría! En su lugar, me ofrecieron un vaso de plástico con hielos por un costo adicional, para compensar que no sirve su refrigerador.

El tiempo de espera fue excesivo, esperé una hora y ni siquiera llegó el agua embotellada. El cajero, que tomó mi pedido, fue extremadamente lento, llevándose 15 minutos solo para registrar la orden a mano, por fallas en su computadora y otros 10 minutos para cobrarme.

Incluso vi a otros clientes quejándose del tiempo de espera, uno de ellos simplemente pidió la cuenta y se fue. Otro cliente esperaba un bocadillo que nunca llegó y optó por abandonar su bebida. Adjunto imágenes que muestran el lapso de 48 minutos sin recibir mi cappuccino ni el avocado toast, y también el video donde reclamo la ausencia de que me dieran la botella de agua.

Vean en qué traste deshechable me entregan la avocado toast, entendieron mal la orden por estar tan distraídos, era para comer en su local, deficiente: el capuchino se sirvió en un vaso de cristal, mientras que el agua, que no podían enfriar adecuadamente, se sirvió en un vaso desechable con hielos adicionales.

Oddly this place has an American name but when I went there I was charged extra for my food to go and never asked (in Spanish or English) if I wanted my food to go; I was actually planning on eating there. I did ask about the additional charge when paying and the guy acted like it was just a normal additional fee, except when I asked again about the discrepancy he could speak fluent English so I just left insulted.
