Ok weird review because it’s a 5 star on food, service and general beauty. I gave a 2 because of terrible politics. It’s offered as kid friendly and they have a few kid attractions and don’t even charge kids. But this is the odd part. Because the kids don’t pay, they can’t have a chair or towel or any other amenities even though they are eating and drinking. So we have paid 500 pesos per adult for 3 adults and they literally sat us down at a 6 top and gave us only 3 chairs for the 3 paying adults. They would not give us the 3 chairs for the 3 children, 2 of which are toddlers. There were dozens if not hundreds of empty chairs. We were actually the only ones there for quite some time. But because of their politics our children don’t deserve chairs. So, obviously we let them sit so we stood to watch our food. Our towels all got soaked in a downpour and they would not refresh for dry towels for the same reason. One towel per paying customer. One chair per paying customer. We ate and drink more than the 500 day pass fee which made our kids paying customers but they didn’t care. No towels and no chairs for them. So freaking weird and uncomfortable and I feel bad for the employees having to enforce such ridiculous rules. We won’t go back. There are way too many beautiful beach clubs in Bacalar that will actually allow our children to sit down. Pic attached of our 6 person table w just 3 chairs on one...

If i could give Beach Club Blu negative stars, I would. Showed up at noon to go for a swim and was told that they had no space and no servers to attend us so we would not be allowed in. We stated that we would pay their fees no problem but not request any service or towels as we just wanted to swim for a couple hours and leave, we brought our own towels and everything. The gentleman was nice enough to ask his manager as he didn't see an issue if we were just there to swim and not be a bother. When he went to ask, you could see the lady in charge make the most hate filled face and looked back at my husband and I. Needless to say, we knew the answer was still no. Just so you know, not all the chairs were taken, and they had about 35 yards of empty grass where we could set our stuff...there was space. I understand if you dont have servers, but i didnt want service and offered to still pay for it anyway. No where on their website does it have a capacity limit. Our hotel, who recommended us, was even in shock that we were turned away. I'm very positive this had something to do with either our class/looks or my husband's race. From all the reviews, it looks like no one else has been turned away , so why us? I would never recommend this place to anyone as there are plenty of other beautiful places to...

Amazing place to spend the day, it is my second time at blu beach bacalar, we are a family of 5 and had a great time, food is delicious, drinks are very good I would definitely go back. I want to recognize Moasir the waiter he does such a great job i wish he would've covered my area i observed this guy a couple times and he is a very kind person, nice attitude always with smile you can tell he knows what he is doing, even though he was not the waiter of my area he came a few times to me and my family during our day to ask us if we needed anything i am not saying the one taking care us who i don't remember his name wasn't good or great he was just ok but the other guy had an excellent service. Look for Moasir if you visit blu beach bacalar you won't regret it. This place goes by reservations so you don't know where you will be at until you get there change your spot if posible he gives a great service it is very noticeable you don't even have to call him if you need anything he comes to you the other ones you have to call them or get their attention!! MOASIR KEEP BEING THE WAY YOU ARE!! YOU...

The vibes at Beach Club Blú are immaculate. Everyone is welcome. The food here is far better than any other beach club I have been to in this region. This place is PERFECT for couples, families, everyone. There is plenty of shade here unlike at Bacalar beach club where there is none. Here there are trees for shade and umbrellas. Also, nice grassy lawn so no need for shoes! The staff is very welcoming and warm. Even though my Spanish is not perfect, we communicate easily. They remembered us from last year. I am SO GLAD to be back 😎 also the drinks taste really good. I got the Brisa marina. There is a great dock. Good music. We brought a speaker but didn’t end up using it, which is a good sign lol. There is easy, accessible parking right out front. It would be easy to bring a wheelchair here. I just can’t recommend this place enough so I wanted to leave this review to express my gratitude for such a hidden gem. Also, remember to respect the stromatolites - the oldest beings on Earth 🌎

The place is a private beach club, at February 2024, you pay 500 pesos, and you get 250 pesos, to use in consumptions. A ceviche is 200, a mango juice is 80. The place has sunbeds, big umbrellas, 1 deck. In front you have strematolitos, and they take good care of. The place is ideal for swimming, is shallow at start, but after 10 meters is in good depth. Not much for snorkeling, I think kayak and paddle are the best thing, they charge you an extra 250 pesos for that. They play music all during the whole time that is open. If you like a quiet place, without music, this is not for you. Also they play some sports on TV, so you better called and ask if you want to avoid this things. The staff is Super nice, going above and beyond so you have everything you need. And the public is mostly US Citizens, perhaps given the price different with all the other beach club. This is one of the most expensive, but also, has less people.
