Probably more of a 4 star restaurant in terms of the food, but my goodness what a location! The hotel is gorgeous, and the waterfront view of the lagoon is one of the best in town. Not the most amazing 'food flavors', but was decent for the quality of the ingredients they have to work with in bacalar, and while being a little expensive, it's not TERRIBLY overpriced considering the portion size of the salad.
