Ciao — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

We enjoyed dinner here two nights during our two week stay. The food when we visited two years ago prior to COVID was delicious. We stayed on the Heaven side and enjoyed breakfast and lunch here. It’s definitely 1) changed in quality and 2) it is not authentic Italian but it serves its purpose of feeding you. This trip, my son enjoyed his meal either spaghetti or steak. I usually ordered the calamari, salmon or fettuccine. My partner enjoyed the filet and fettuccine. We asked for shrimp in it and chopped up his steak to add to it. We added extra parmigiana, some salt and pepper and it was all she wrote. This is what we have to do a lot at Hard Rock and all inclusive resorts where the food is just present. When my husband and I dined here we enjoyed our experience. Our waiter was nice and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. For my appetizer, I ordered the calamari and I didn't really like it because the breading wasn't very good. For my entree, I ordered the risotto with truffle essence for dinner and I was a little disappointed. It just wasn't what I was expecting. My husband enjoyed his meal. A Italian restaurant located in of the best hotels in Mexico?...IM ALL FOR IT!

Ciao offers some great Italian food and one of the best desserts I have ever tasted,defenetly on my top 3. Ciao is gorgeous and fancy with fantastic service.

I don't know about price becuase everything was included since we were staying at the hotel.

Why 4 stars?...this is really like a nick pick by the way and the thing was I that I ordered one of the Cheese raviolis, and what was served to me was rather small so I didn't feel full; but that's just me, and everybody's stomachs are different. Overall fantastic place...
