While the atmosphere was excellent and the service was generally friendly, helpful, and attentive, the food here is a big thumbs down.
Charging MX$1,600 (USD$80) for what is billed as a Nayarit-style whole charcoal-grilled fish is pretty preposterous to begin with. I have eaten the same dish dozens and dozens of times and never paid more than maybe MX$500. But to then be given a fish that was entirely devoid of flavor? That's just highway robbery. Nayarit style is to be marinaded in lime, salt, herbs and spices leaving the fish with a rich, powerful flavor that generally needs no further flavoring. This fish was bland and was only marginally improved using the sauces that were served with it. I was highly disappointed.
The tostadas were ok as were the apps. And others in my party were generally satisfied with their entrees, though the sides were generally regarded as bland.

The butternut squash was overly pretentious and watery with no flavor. The Mexican corn was dry and no flavor either. Avoid this one if staying at the...
