Whoa!

What a great place.

We are staying at Allegro across the street. Even if this spot were on the other side of the island, it would be worth the trip. And, as it turns out, they do have a 2nd location over on the 'wild side' we'll have to visit next time.

My wife and I both had tacos with a margarita. Also had chips & guac and an order of fries.

The food was so good. So fresh. The tortillas are not Fri m some factory. So, so fresh.

The fish, shrimp & beef are very nicely seasoned. Really good flavor.

Most places we've been in Mexico a a bit crusty at least. Not here. Super clean. Great service.

Best of all, this place is run by a family. Mother and father in the kitchen with one of the sons. Daughter-in-law running the front. They all took time to talk to us about the business, etc.

The experience we had was so good we need to return tomorrow.

The food was absolutely delicious. The bartender is beautiful and wonderful and so attentive to whatever we wanted. She made excellent margaritas. My friend and I ordered tacos and they were so good! Freshly made hot sauces were so amazing that we bought some to bring home on the plane and they made it home with me! Everything was freshly made, limes freshly squeezed in front of us for margaritas, Pico was So good! There's a little pool and some space out in front and little seating outside as well as inside. They have panels that open up most days and let the sun shine in. This was a nice surprise across from the allegro all inclusive. Unfortunately we did not get to try this restaurant. As we walked over there, a dog was roaming around. We completely ignored her as she appeared to be a stray. The dog ended up biting my friend and we had to seek medical attention. We tried to just walk away and get out as quickly as we could. The dog followed us and snapped again. We screamed and it ran off. The man at the shop next door was laughing hysterically at us in the midst of it and the people at the restaurant just sat and watched it all go down. No one tried to help us. We were really upset because we heard nothing but wonderful things about this place but PLEASE be careful if you go over there.
