Maya Nah — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

This restaurant SCAMS!!! La peor restaurante! AVOID ** visitors, tourists, who doesn't speak Spanish well ** 4 stars??!! NO WAY!!! ONE STAR !!!

We ordered, quesadilla, coconut shrimp, and fish. When we asked for a check, the total was 80 mxn pesos, so we paid in cash. The server came back and said there has been a mistake and new total is 120 mxn pesos, then somehow the asking total was kept increased 195 mxn pesos to 450 mxn totals. The owner lady was very rude and she even grabbed our money from our hands.

I understand that we are not Mexican and not fluent Spanish speakers but she was so rude and pro-scammer!!! I've been to many other restaurants in the world and I've never experienced this kind of experience ever!!! The worst scam!!!

Some of the best shrimp and fish ceviche we have had! We went for a late dinner and had a great meal. They started us with complimentary shrimp soup broth which was delicious.
