Please edit your reply to the person who came when you were closed and tell them they should reconsider the accuracy of their review, too.
You are lashing out at my honest response and review and it is bad behavior especially after dropping the ball. My husband posted of his own volition as he was aware of the situation, no encouragement from me.
I honestly wish you future success, this was simply an unsuccessful experience for me. If you have anything further you wish to discuss or clear up, please respond to the WhatsApp message I will send.
Edit: in response to your reply, it is highly unlikely that my message was checked and left on read for a day and then deleted, and after I sent my follow up message that was marked delivered my thread was deleted again. If this is somehow true then I hope this disorganization is solved by this business asap. Lying is dishonorable.
I attempted to order a birthday cake for my mother from this bakery. After picking a flavour from the list (Mocaccino) and asking for a modification (white chocolate ganache instead of chocolate) I received a message stating that it would not work well with the flavour balance of the cake, which I greatly appreciated. I expressed a small concern that some family members do not like chocolate too much and asked their opinion on what we could do to help that with this flavour (" Ah, ok. There are a few family members who don't like too much chocolate. But if most of the cake is coffee, that should be fine. What would you recommend?
Thanks!" ) and the message I got back was "In that case we suggest a different flavor."
It came off as a tepid response, very different from the enthusiastic messages from earlier. I talked it over with family and decided that since my mother likes coffee and chocolate we will get that flavour unaltered and then a half dozen cupcakes of another flavour for those who do not like chocolate "Let's do Mocaccino and then a half dozen of the Passion fruit cupcakes.

I also sent along inspiration photos (as asked for in their initial messages). They read all of the messages I sent on Saturday morning before 10 am and proceeded to say absolutely nothing the rest of Saturday. I sent another message on Sunday afternoon asking if they needed anything else from me in order to proceed, and they did not check the message. It is Tuesday, and the message is still currently unread. Very disappointing. It comes off as unprofessional or just plain rude and has left a bad taste in my mouth. I was super excited as their cakes are beautiful. After sending my order in and them confirming their availability, communication was off for about a couple of days after they stated they would send an invoice. I found that to be odd, given they were responsive initially. Against my better judgement, I still went ahead and paid for the order in full once they finally sent the invoice. I was reassured that my order was confirmed and payment received. On my birthday there was NO CAKE, so I sent a text inquiring about the status and if there was some type of delay. I was told they DID NOT MAKE A CAKE for me. I was sooooo disappointed. Supposedly, they mixed up my order with a person that had the same last name. Unsure how that can happen, as Iām sure it was for two different items. I immediately asked for a refund. They were apologetic and agreed to provide a refund and still give me a complimentary cake. They later backtracked because they stated they were unable to deliver it during a reasonable time and wanted to charge more money for a delivery fee to Riviera Maya at a later time. This was a mistake they made that literally ruined my plans for my bday and they were āvery apologeticā about it because it ānever happensā but yet wouldnāt go out of their way to right this wrong. This bakery not only quickly responded to my messages but went ABOVE AND BEYOND to take the time to talk about their flavors and put together the most wonderful (and tasty) assortment of treats. They even stayed in communication with me throughout several attempts at trying to deliver it through hotel security challenges and more. It was a truly wonderful opportunity to get to communicate and work with them to provide something special for another person.
