Los Canarios San Luis Potosi — Restaurant in San Luis Potosí

I’m curious on why the restaurant doesn’t have higher reviews. Exceptionally underrated restaurant in its entirety. The breakfast buffet is amazing and robust with fresh ripe fruits included, the food is flavor rich, fresh, and cooked well. The coffee is great, and service is phenomenal. Their hours of operation are especially convenient and you have ample opportunity to eat. I also have digestive issues and a strict diet and can still find ample food choices here (gastritis, sensitivity to seasonings/spices etc). If you have extreme gastritis I have had no issues with their house burger personally, as mine is extremely sensitive I can say this without any doubts. I also did eat their fries (which oil is a major trigger) I ate a few and was fine. As well as their tuna tartare on cucumber (though best to probably not eat the tomato on it).

Especially so when you are a last minute visitor who doesn’t speak Spanish (my family is half hispanic but I didn’t speak english to learn it growing up, I was too busy learning english) & I can still communicate with them...

Pésimo servicio! Teníamos reservación para 7 personas a las 3:30 confirmada en mensaje, llegamos justo a las 3:30 y la señorita de la entrada, se porto muy grosera y dijo que llegamos tarde, aún cuando le enseñamos el mensaje de confirmación para las 3:30 lo negó, y dijo que no estaba bien la reservación a esa hora, siendo que a nosotros nos la confirmaron, lo peor es que se dirigió super grosera con mi familia y con mi mamá y justo el día de las madres, no es posible, no nos daba solución solo nos regañaba como si fuera nuestra culpa, hasta que reclamamos nos fueron a meter a un privado aislado del resto del restaurante, solo, con una mesa de reuniones para 20 personas, como haciéndonos un favor, cuando dijimos que preferíamos otra mesa nos dijeron que tardaría mas de una hora y nos dejaron sentados sin atendernos. Preferimos retirarnos, no es forma de tratar a los clientes y menos a la clientes Mamás que van a festejar y pasar un momento agradable, nos salimos y fuimos directo a otro restaurante en la misma plaza de nombre Wine Park donde nos proporcionaron una mesa inmediatamente y disfrutamos de una excelente comida, a la carta y nos recibieron con rosas y un pastel para las festejadas. Si el restaurante Los Canarios no tiene el personal suficiente o el que tienen no esta preparado y se comporta super grosero, no deberían tomar tantas reservaciones.
