Sorbettos helado artesanal — Restaurant in San Luis Potosí

Please, please avoid the cakes at all costs. I’m a pastry chef and I can tell you with certainty cakes are way after their use by date. My son spitted out his first oreo cake bite, I tried It myself and couldn’t believe that was for sale! I had ordered already 2 pieces of carrot cake, one for me and one for my mum, I asked to have them to go as we were not comfortable anymore. Once home we sat to have coffee and cake… absolutely disgusting, I ended up spitting it out. How on earth people can sell food like this?

The ice cream is delicious and the space is nice but they do not clean well and have a cockroach problem. When we were at the counter ordering, one was crawling on the cups. We even saw a dead one inside the mango ice cream!! A dead one at our table too. The cake looked really good and I wanted to get a slice to go but didn’t out of fear of cockroaches 😅. I hope that them being dead is a sign the owner is taking actions. 5 star place without the cockroaches for sure.
