Tacos Don Felix — Restaurant in San Miguel de Allende

They say the only constant in life is change, but Don Felix has proven this a fallacy; their constituency, quality and amazingly friendly service has been a staple for my time in Mexico for years. I have thoroughly enjoyed their food, atmosphere and libations since their humble starts as a food truck all the way to their fabulous restaurant location today, and after over 12 years of nothing but positive encounters, I consider this restaurant a second home. The service is impecable, the food consistently delicious, and the treatment my family receives here makes us feel like part of their family. Incredible dining experience. The servers were considerate and helpful. They served our picky table of 6, and everyone left stuffed and satisfied.

From authentic horchata, limonada, and huge margaritas to the pie, it was unforgettable. I had a fish similar to Romano chicken, with rice and steamed vegetables. My husband has enchiladas, and cleaned the plate of every drop.

It's a family business, evidently open only on the weekends. It's so popular, you will want reservations. When you dine here, it's like you are part of the family.

This was a spectacular restaurant, true authentic Mexican food. Everything was delicious the creamy guacamole, the seven tacos, and my absolute favorite, Gloria’s Enchiladas, which I had to finish the entire dish although I got full, of course I have to mention the sauces, which were very tasty.

All staff members were very helpful, extremely nice, and of course all the love to Gloria, what a hosts.

The vibe of this place is very homey, you feel that you are at someone’s place.
