Guacamole Grill — Restaurant in San Miguel de Cozumel

This little place is such a gem!! They have the most incredible VEGAN bowl that is huge! Super filling and flavorful.. the bowl was rice, lentils, sautéed onions and peppers with a pico de gallo.. I also got a side of guacamole and chips which was tasty it couldn't eat because the bowl was so large. I totally forgot to take a picture of the food. We got the vegan bowl, a plate of chicken nachos, chips & guacamole, a Pepsi and a Perrier sparkling water all for $27 which is super reasonable for airport food. The employees were also extremely friendly and the food was out fast and fresh. Will definitely try again when I am back...

I got a pulled pork burrito, nachos, club sandwich, chicken tender sandwich and some other item that ended up costing $1700 pesos or $86 usd. The pork burrito was bland with a vomit taste, the club sandwich had good ingredients but I tried one by one and each ingredient had a weird taste except the bacon so I didn’t eat it. The nachos were the only thing edible out of everyone’s meal. I don’t normally make reviews but this restaurant was so bad. They will always have customers because it is the only restaurant in the airport… capitalism is...

So… the food is terrible and the prices high. I have eaten in other Guacamole restaurants at Mexican airports, and this is by far a very horrible one. A burrito without any vegetables and quesadillas with horrible American cheese. Tourists come to Mexico to try our food, you know, so you guys stop changing everything to make it more American-like. Another thing… you cannot charge for service (tips) if you are providing none. It is such a shame that the Mexican Caribbean is not...
