One of our new favorites on the island. Everything is made in house - the salsas, chips, tortillas…everything. We ordered the guacamole (devoured before we could take a photo) - it has the perfect balance of lime flavor. I ordered a chorizo taco and 2 pastor. The chorizo is the best chorizo I’ve had on the island hands down. My boyfriend ordered the surf and turf burrito (steak and shrimp). The French fries were also seriously yummy. The service was also fantastic - the staff are extremely friendly and definitely put love into their cooking.

We saw many locals coming to this place when we were walking around, so we thought, let's try it! Well, the service was amazing, which is mainly why it's not 1 or 2 stars. We both got 3 different tacos, and the sauces were amazing (especially the garlic sauce), but unfortunately, the meat & tortillas were very dry and maybe we just were unlucky, or who knows, but we both felt it just wasn't very good. Again, service was great, but it was probalby one of our least favorite meals on Cozumel.

The best meal in Cozumel I have had, definitely! The food here is so much better than the restaurants at the beach clubs or on the strip in Centro. This place is family owned. Our server was so kind and went out of his way to make us feel welcome to a place that locals seem to love. The vegetarian options (like prickly pear and mushroom tacos) are delicious. Don’t forget the agua frescas!

This was an amazing meal. All the staff are friendly and I left more than satisfied. I had the flank steak. It was as tender as any med rare ribeye or rare filet mignon I have had. When I asked for the reason it was this tender I was told it was a secret. With this secret and the great service it was the best flank steak I have eaten. My wife had the mixed burrito which was a very generous helping of meat and a great taste. The green salsa has rich flavor unlike other tomatillo jalapeno salsa that I have had. The red habenero salsa was robust and spicy as expected from habanero but where it stands out is the depth in flavor. It was not hot to be hot it had purpose. Thank you for offering English menus. I only wish I could eat here earlier in the day to have lunch and dinner. The ambiance with a small coy pond and a water fall cascading down the wall was a great touch. We walked around the area looking for a restaurant that smelled great from walking by it. We came across La Terracita and had an incredible experience. A great array of food to choose from, amazing service from our server, Gabriel, and huge portions. I left so full I couldn't even eat my dessert until the next morning and it ended up being just as great as the main course. Definitely recommend putting this on your list of restaurants to try while on the island. Also, if your Spanish isn't great, Gabriel speaks...
