It’s the consistency for me. We dined here for three weeks, as regulars and these are my take aways: Consistently welcomed with smiles and prompt service. The food is fresh, tasty, consistent, and priced appropriately. Coffee is GOOD, I never had a latte but the coffee sufficed my caffeine need. Orange juice is clearly freshly squeezed. Many items are house made: various baked goods/cakes, hot sauces (the habanero is spicy but flavorful!) Spacious and clean bathroom. We did take out once and it was super quick! Local interpretive paintings hanging on the walls are inspiring and thought provoking conversation starters. My favorite things we tried on the menu was: vegetarian omelette (PACKED full of veggies), huevos divorciados, the club breakfast sandwich, azteca soup, and vegetable quesadillas. There are many things we didn’t try, and we will most certainly return when staying on the island of Cozumel next. Gracias todos y especialmente un gracias...

Vegetable omelette is loaded with veggies but served with a side "salad" consisting of iceberg lettuce and shredded carrot with no dressing at all.
They only accept cash payment but do not tell you before ordering. They could put up a sign or something so that people know they have to pay cash beforehand. I get that some places are cash only, it's fine, I'd just notify...
