We’ve drove by this restaurant a couple of times before deciding to walk in. Honestly, we thought it was going to be another one like the Calle 13 kind where food is bland and service is far from good.

To start, service was top notch. Even though it was fairly busy, our server greet us, gave us our menus and got our drinks right away. The owner came by later too, and always made sure we had everything we needed and then some.

To start, they give you a board with bread and a dip made from mayonnaise and lime 6 different roasted chilis (bomb). The first one is on the house, but we HAD to have more, so we paid for an extra.

The Maracuyá (Passion Fruit) water was delicious and refreshing, nothing I’ve ever had before.

The Smash burger was EXCELLENT, the classic was really good to.

We also had the Papa Rib. It has potatoes, mushrooms, roasted green chili and barbecue rib meat. We come from where BBQ is really good, so I should’ve had the beef option instead because that’s definitely not their specialty, but it was ok anyways.

I couldn’t recommend this place enough if you’re ever in Rocky Point. It will definitely be one of our stops when we...

Don’t judge a book by its cover—this place is a hidden gem! We stumbled upon A la Burguer Con el Chef and were completely blown away. The location might not scream “gourmet burger spot,” but as soon as we walked in, we were warmly welcomed like family. The vibe is genuine and inviting; no pretenses, just great food and even better people.

We ordered the smash burgers, and they were hands-down some of the best we’ve ever had; perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection, and layered with flavors that show real care and creativity. They even brought out their house bread and signature dip on the house, which was such a thoughtful touch and delicious.

Our 9-year-old son couldn’t stop raving about it, which says a lot! The service was top-notch from start to finish, and it’s clear the team takes real pride in what they’re doing. And it was much more affordable than the more touristy restaurants.

More people need to know about this place! A la Burguer Con el Chef deserves to be on everyone’s must-try list. We’ll...

A hidden gem in the back streets of Puerto Peñasco. I drove past once not realizing that I had gone by it, but thankfully I circled back and found it. The friendly service and the atmosphere made it feel like eating at a good friend's house. But most of all the food and presentation was amazing. I ordered the beef Papas Burguer which is a beef hamburger (without a bun) seved on a bed sauteed onions, mushrooms, peppers, and potatoes. The large beef burger was delicious and cooked to juicy perfection. The veggies were equally flavorful and an excellent complement to the beef burger. I also tried their special house drink with mango & passion fruit juice. Even though I'm not usually a big fruit juice drinker, this beverage was undeniably tasty and made me an instant fan. These guys are really putting a lot of love and work into their food and it shows. I will definitely be returning again and...
