Awful experience. I arrived and a woman just tell me that they only had half Lts. and full Lts., no hello, good evening and that sort of things, that was fine, I guess. But of all of the people that was working there no one had masks, they were just chatting between themselves. I just sat like 10 mins after, because they said that it was only to go… and started waiting for my meal, then they started to talk in a low tone looking at us, that was strange and unconfortable. Theeeen they just realized that “we were clients” and starting yelling between them until they asked us if we were already attended. Some of them were talking about how grateful they're for getting paid $1200 pesos (about $60 dollars) for working 7 am to 11 pm (17 hours?!!). I don't know who is taking care of that birrieria, but it doesn’t doing the things right… When my birria finally arrived, I paid with $210 of $110 pesos of the full price, & they didn't give me the change until I asked for it…
Good things about it: The food is amazing, as the place full of mezquites, but horrible...
Read moreLocal birrieria. Very basic menu (tacos, quesobirria tacos, and birria. They have three meat choices. Beef, goat, and mixed. We only tried the beef and it was amazing! The quesobirria tacos were huge (so be prepared). We ordered three each and they came in as 6 since they were cut in half. So much food.
Tip- they only take cash. They don’t speak English well but google translate works wonders. Reasonably priced. We paid $47 for 9 huge quesobirria tacos, large birria plate, horchata, water, Diet Coke, and coffee. We had to take most of the food to go and can’t wait to heat it up later.
The atmosphere is great, very cute outside patio feel, under a lot of trees for shade. We’ve heard of this place before and tried getting it last time but google maps took us to a closed down location (maybe previous establishment)? This time we tried Apple Maps and here we are! So glad...
Read moreDelicious birria, goat and beef. Rustic open air atmosphere and friendly staff. The tortillas are hand made in-house and they were delicious! The quesabirria was super tasty. Price and portions were fair and overall enjoyed the spot. The reason I couldn't give it the full 5:stars is because the seating is a bit uncomfortable, hardwood rustic chairs and the trees that cover the dining area would have small bits of leaves that fell everywhere, including your table and occasionally on your plate. Not quite the deal breaker for me, but some might find that rather displeasing. Maybe some type of netting solution would help I don't know. I would go back and I would say give it a try the food is pretty good and worth the visit, especially if you...
