Las Espadas - Brazilian Steakhouse — Restaurant in Sonora

If you’ve been to other espadas or any other Churruscaría I highly recommend you don’t waste your time or money.

This place has a very nice presentation and the customer service is impeccable.

The quality of the food and food service is terrible.

We spent almost 2 hours there and never received any medium or medium rare beef, every beef item had to be asked for and was brought over cooked.

The mashed potatoes were from a box, how can you charge locals so much in this economy and serve powdered mash potatoes? That’s just embarrassing.

All they bring you is pork and sausage. Occasion glimpse of overcooked well done grey beef and back to pork and sausage.

It did not matter who we asked whether a manager server or guacho we never received medium or medium rare meat let alone filet mignon. We could audibly hear the same complaints from other tables. Where’s the picanah? Where’s the ribeye? Where’s the filet mignon?

They advertise 31 swords yet you only ever see the same 5. Pork pork pork chicken and more pork. This establishment is an embarrassment to Brazilian food.

The best part about our meal was the drinks, canned coke and bottled beer.

The bathroom upstairs was a hotbox. No a/c. Maybe it was broken but we started sweating from just being in there to wash our hands.

Save your money and hit up a food stand on any...

A pretty nice place with a great bar with lot of legumes, fruits, sauces, cheese, sushi and breads. The staff passes with meat on swords to serve you and you can go as much as you want to the bar. The staff is very kind and is always a great plus.

This system has two problems for me : One is that you can't choose what you want to eat and in what order but that's the less annoying point though would be nice to be able to make some kind of order at some point cause you can wait for hours and the one meat that you wanted may not come out :/ The real annoying problem and I hope that will change is that if you are not next to the exit of the kitchen the staff will arrive to you with nearly nothing left on the swords cause they ALWAYS do the same path starting with the table right at the exit of the kitchen instead of serving other people :/

Even though this place is still a great place to go and I will just say choose your sits wisely...

Just went to try they 23 beef cut that they show on their menu and it was very disappointing they only keep on offering only 3 topsirloin, Trompo de picaña,and picaña and I asked our server and he said that all they serve tonight they keep on bringing 2 types of chicken and Brazilian sausage I have been in many Brazilian restaurants and I thought thos was going to be best for being in sonora whe they have the best beef, appetizer where good but they brought them when I ask for the bill, the waitress realize that he forgot...
