Mariscos Los Arbolitos de Cajeme -- San Carlos — Restaurant in Sonora

This restaurant has great location and views, and the seafood choices are pretty good as well. I ordered the seafood stew/soup which was stuffed with lots of shrimp, octopus, fish etc. I also ordered the seafood fried rice dish to go alongside it. Both of these dishes had decent flavour, however I could not finish them as both were very, very salty. Our friends had the salmon and another shrimp dish, and all of their sides were cold. Quite disappointing for everyone unfortunately. Waiter was inattentive, did not check on our meals once served, and of course had no problem asking if we wanted to tip. This place used to be really good. Pricing is still the same, moderately high. They don’t serve you a full plate like before but it’s still really good. Only problem is the staff. I spent half an hour watching 8 staff members conversate and rub each other’s back. The waiter that attended us, a group of 10 didn’t pay attention to detail and forgot to bring my order. When I told him about it he brought back a more expensive dish I didn’t order and tried to get me to pay for it so he wouldn’t have to own up to his mistake. We’re frequent visitors to San Carlos and have eaten here before... the food is generally pricey but good and the view is beautiful. The main problem is the service, it has always been terrible- very slow and abet neglectful- I already knew this going in except this time 10/11/20 not only was the service terrible but they also forgot to bring me my lemonade or my food!! At the register when we left to pay they tried charging me for the fish I never received and no apology was given or free dessert or anything. 3/10 would recommend- we probably won’t be going back again.
