Read moreThis was our first time eating at Blackie's. We both ordered the petit chateaubriand, it was seriously the best steak I've had in years. Armando prepared it tableside and it was cooked to perfection, so tender and flavorful. Armando was very attentive, even with multiple parties having flambe. We shared a flan for dessert. My husband thought it was too "eggy" but I enjoyed it. The vibe was relaxed, music was unobtrusive, just instrumental Mexican ballads. All in all a very pleasant experience. It was unremarkable, and so were the Cesar salads. We sent our mustard steaks back to be cooked a little more. By the time they were ready, our table mates had finished their food.
