We stumbled across this place after a visit to the stunning Teotihuacán. It was brilliant. A completely authentic Mexican experience. We were given a massive hug of Aguas Frescas Jamaica as we arrived and then all chose the 45 pesos "food of the day". This was incredible value for money and one of our food highlights of our trip - a starter of lentil soup, and then a main of rice, beans, tortillas and chicken with red mole sauce. Six people, drinks included, and enough food to fill us up till dinner, all for 250 pesos....
Read moreI stumbled upon this spot during my Teotihuacan visit and I’m so glad I did. The food was authentic and hearty - the enmolada had a deep cocoa richness with a pleasant spice kick, paired with a fragrant rib. The meal was incredibly filling, complete with soup, rice, and corn tortillas.

I had the chicken mole, Puebla style, which was incredibly delicious. The vegetable soup was also delicious.
