We had a very bad experience with this hotel. The pictures they have on their website do not accurately represent the current condition of the hotel. Those pictures must’ve been taken a long time ago. This hotel needs a lot of TLC. There was no way to keep out the light out of the rooms during the mornings, the beds were hard, and it was very hard to open and close your room door because of the skeleton keys that they use.
Aside from that, they owe us a refund for massages we never got. Initially, I made a hotel reservation to include massages. However, I immediately called and requested the cancellation of those massages. They said they would not be an issue and that they would refund us when we were there. That never happened. Here we are four months later and we still don’t have a refund. Their manager, Raul agreed to refund us but has come up with one excuse after another such as their PayPal account not working.
Even worse, the day we were checking out, the night watchman went into our room to steal the tip we had left for the housekeepers. I know this for a fact because I saw him coming from our room. He was the only one there. We were also there with another couple. I had them check their room for their tip. Their tip had also been stolen.
