So this place looks like nothing from the main street (Reynosa - Monterrey Highway 2). The ample parking lot is hidden in the back.
It's open for breakfast. When I was there it was rather crowded. Prices are reasonable - I had breakfast of eggs, beans and ham for 90 pesos. Prices go up to 250 pesos for other items, which includes lunch and dinner. This was summer 2021 for those counting.
The food was pretty good and about the most Mexican I have been to in Reynosa. Of course this is Mexico, but lots of places have more American stuff or maybe tacos - everything in the menu was real Mexican rather then the Americanized Mexican you see in USA.
The ambience was a little loud - the interior is brick and wood and the sound resonates fairly well. When I was there there was a tape in the background playing instrumental music. Lighting is somewhat dark. The wait staff was more attentive then usual, and you will never have an empty cup of coffee.

Soy cliente frecuente, sin embargo el día de hoy al revisar la carta me encontré con 3 precios diferentes del mismo producto, la excusa es que están actualizando los precios, aunado a la mala atención por parte del mesero, (creo que andaba de mal humor) de lo cual yo no tengo la culpa, ya que al traer el servicio avento las cucharas del café y las tazitas donde sirven las salsas, pedí un caldo de camarón y al ponerlo sobre la mesa lo derramó, y para rematar, al pedir la cuenta veo un cuarto precio diferente a los 3 que ya había visto, reclame y me traen la cuenta diciéndome que el encargado me hacía un descuento. Lamento lo que pasó, ya que a mí en lo personal me gustaba mucho ir a ése lugar, ahora voy a pensar mucho antes de poder regresar nuevamente. Food is delicious. I’ve been a few times no issues and has been very clean and pleasant the times I visited. Entrees are great service is superb. Family atmosphere without high price.
