PlayaViva - Living Beach Club — Restaurant in Telchac Puerto

NOT PET FRIENDLY. I say this only because of the confusion I've seen in some TikTok comments about this place. The staff were so kind to our dog and in letting us know. Once we were able to enjoy the beach club it was amazing, the view is a 10/10, the food was very good and didn't take forever to come out. The bathrooms and showers were immaculately clean and The outside showers were perfect after a few dips in the ocean and sand, the lounge chairs, are not your friend if your plan is to stay awake, lol we kept dozing off, and I'm pretty sure the beach club paid the ocean breeze to make the perfect guest appearance because it was perfect the entire time....there was plenty of seating and shade and the staff was incredibly attentive and patient and kind..The drinks were also very good lol the manager was so cool and they even helped us get a ride home because we weren't aware that it's a bit difficult to get Uber's out there after a certain time. So please if you are visiting make sure you get some pesos and a number to a taxi company if you're going closer to the evening time...We were so glad to have found this place and we will most definitely be back with...

Good food and very friendly waiting staff, but this restaurant can't be taken seriously as a dinner place. Upon arrival al 6:45 PM they told us we could order until 7:30 PM because afterwards the kitchen would close, that's fair enough, so we made sure to order our food within 10 minutes of arrival. What happened next though, has never happened to me before. It took them 20 minutes to serve the appetizers after which they immediately brought our main course while we were still eating our appetizers, to take it even further they brought our dessert (ice cream) before we had even finished the main course. All the courses were on the table at the same time, and this was before it had even turned 8 PM, we were then basically told we had 10 minutes to finish everything and get out. I would not come back here for dinner unless they...

This place is amazing! Best food in Telchac. We will definitely be back!

We ordered the mixed ceviche, tuna tartare, tuna tostadas, steak tacos, crab cakes, and octopus with rice in ink. It was all delicious! I ordered my tuna tostadas with the sriracha mayo on the side so I could control how much to add, and asked for the cheese to be on the side of the tacos because it’s a lot. The octopus over the squid ink rice was a standout- it tasted like a luxurious risotto with lots of butter and garlic. My 6 year old love the chicken fettuccini Alfredo. Drinks were great, too. It was the best Margarita I had all trip!
