My boyfriend and I spent our first evening in Tequisquiapan dining here due to its good reviews here on Tripadvisor. We were NOT disappointed. The service and ambiance was impeccable. We had some terrific guacamole followed by cheese fondue (HIGHLY recommended) and a couple well-made mixed drinks. We followed this up with Enmoladas K’puchinos and Filete a la Tampiqueña as well as a wonderful bottle of local wine. We finished with Pastel de Chocolate Amargo and Pastel Mil Hojas. Everything was just wonderful - there was not a single morsel of food left at the end of our meal. My boyfriend, who is a Mexican Chef, thought everything was cooked perfectly and was very happy with the food. I think prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and overall experience - I did not think it pricey at all. For EVERYTHING, which included the cheese fondue, guac and chips, entrees, two desserts, 4 mixed drinks and a bottle of wine, I paid US$100 plus tip. I mean, you just will NOT get this kind of food, experience, and service in the US or anywhere else for the same price. Pedimos queso panela artesanal asado, con pesto y ensalada de nopales encurtidos de $108 pesos y chicharrón en salsa morita acompañado con tortillas, guacamole y pétalos de cebolla cambray de $107 pesos, pedí una cerveza artesanal llamada bernalina, Artur pidió de beber agua de hierbabuena con pepino, todo está muy bueno.
La decoración, tanto del lugar como de los platillos es muy linda, al entrar a este lugar sabes que la pasaras bien y que de seguro comerás delicioso, tome fotografías de cada rincón.
Un restaurante que promueve la cultura queretana a través de su gastronomía y rescata recetas e ingredientes autóctonos para crear platillos únicos con un toque innovador. No dejes de probar las tradicionales Enchiladas Queretanas, el Filete de Res en Mole K’puchinos o el Rib Eye de Cerdo en Salsa de Xoconostle.
Los fines de semana encontrarás música en vivo y bar con karaoke en la terraza. Con su “Bodega del Mes” disfruta de una variedad de vinos de la región a precios especiales.

Waiters were looking busy between themselves but not taking orders from diners, most things on the menu were unavailable. Ordered a cheese tray and was told there was no cheese, 20 minutes later the waiter said they’d checked all the refrigerators and found enough for one tray, ouch.
