Restaurante Coole Chepa Chi — Restaurant in Yucatán

The service at first was okay but then people started slacking, the appetizers were always late, we ordered beer and no food on the table. They told us that the appetizers were made fresh on the spot however, it continued to be delayed on our table.

The service from the waitress and waiters unacceptable, its like they never cared if there was only a few people inside the palapa than outside. The salbutes, was a bit raw, the tortilla 🫓 and the poc chuc was to poor. There is no happy hour whatsoever. So me and my family waited at 2:00 pm for Happy hour, although there isn't one to begin with. The gentleman who was the bartender told us that its a bucket of four beers but no discount on the cocktail's nor any beer at all; not even half a price than the regular one's on the beverage menu.

Basically you have to get a bucket 🪣 of 4 beers of the same brand not mix and match. At the end he explains to us that there is no such thing as a happy hour there, everything was a lie from the start. I am not coming back here nor...

We found Coole Chepa Chi and the Lodge to be wonderful experience. Yes prices are up a notch but acceptable considering this is a resort. All the staff we have come across have gone out of their way to ensure we received the best service, drinks and food. From Australia we found it comforting to have been greeted by three levels of management who all spent time chatting with use and offering assistance and local area information. We have decided to return in a few months and spend longer than one night to take in everything that is on offer. So relaxing yet so much to do, paradise is found,...

Save yourself some headache, money and time. Skip this restaurant!! We went last week and we were a group of 22. First of all, they refused to split the check amongst the families, then they took 15 minutes to bring us drinks, then the food is nothing great ... as a matter of fact, it was the worst we had during the trip!
