Tiflis Georgian Restaurant — Restaurant in Rîșcani Sector

I’ve been felt with mixed feelings from disappointed of the service to stunned by the delicious food. Will start with positives: the food came in reasonable time and it was spot on; the atmosphere is really nice inside and out. The negatives: I’ve been left at the beginning for aprox 25’ until I was asked if I wanted to order smth; the music was a little too loud for me in the little cabin bur they tried to lower or switch it off without results; the waitress Natalia looked always annoyed and not necessarily welcoming; when I was billed I got added 2 glasses of wine that I haven’t ordered, but got it refunded once claimed. So watch out and ask for your receipt, check your order so you don’t get overcharged. It’s a shame you guys don’t invest in training ppl to deliver a good service and you didn’t look overly busy or understaffed to see some of your waitresses unwelcoming. I’d surely come more often since I really like Georgian cuisine, but not sure I’ll get over the unpleasant experience. I was celebrating my bday and I’m glad not the whole experience was bad. To note this was my second time visiting, the first time was pretty nice and convinced me to come back. What a shame and so silly to manage a business like that. Am fost cu familia recent și am luat cina. În același timp am vrut să rezervăm o masă pentru 15 persoane, pentru o zi de naștere, pentru o zi de luni. Ne-am gîndit, deoarece afară este timp frumos să bronăm un foișor. Din start persoana care răspunde de rezervări a început să motiveze că probabil totuși 15 persoane nu o să încapă la masă în foișor, ceea ce mi s-a părut straniu. Foișorul părea destul de mare, la sigur încap și 20 de persoane. Tocmai din a 3 încercare am înțeles care era scopul lor, de exemplu din 4 mese într-un foișor, respectiv vor să le folosească la maxim, nu cumva să rămînă vreo masă liberă, adică vroiau 15 persoane să le așeze la două mese, și altele două mese în același foișor să rămînă libere pentru eventual alți clienți, la argumentul ca totuși o să fie o zi de naștere, a spus ca nu contează, și asta într-o zi de luni repet. Ei insistau și încercau să ne convingă să ne rezerveze masă în restaurant. Cu greu am ajuns la soluția să ne rezerveze foișorul și să ne aranjeze la 3 mese, una să rămînă aparte pentru alți clienți. Încă un moment a fost cu torta, dacă vrei să vii cu torta de acasă, trebuie să achiți 500 lei pentru permisiune, sau să comanzi numai de la cineva anume care indica ei. Peste o zi după rezervare, ne-au sunat de la restaurant și ne-au atenționat că dacă vrem să rămînem în foișor, este nevoie de un minim de consum de 1000 lei/persoană, altfel ei nu acceptă. Deci din start o atitudine total agresivă și greșită față de potențialii clienți. Am avut impresia ca am rezervat o masă Vip într-o sîmbătă la cea mai Top Discotecă. Prețurile la fel nu sînt din cele mai “dulci”. 1350 lei timp de 1 oră și jumate două maturi și doi copii. Desigur am anulat rezervarea, un comportament destul de arogant pina la urmă față de clienți măcar că au încercat să nu arate asta, și niște condiții total aiurea, atît cu minimul de consum cît și cu politica de ocupare a meselor. Am fost a 3 oara dar nu cred ca o sa mai merg, și nici nu recomand la alții. Administrația are un singur scop- să facă bani cit mai mulți, cu ce preț și care va fi impresia clienților, nu contează. Asta se observă cu ochiul liber. Rușine, au preluat locul de la fostul restaurant Poiana Nucului și în loc să se perfecționeze, ei strică totul și mai tare. Just doing business, asta este deviza lor. I returned to this Georgian restaurant with high expectations, given my pleasant experiences in the past, but I was disappointed with the quality of the food this time.

I ordered an Adjarian khachapuri and a soup with khinkali. Unfortunately, the khachapuri seemed undercooked – the dough felt insufficiently baked, and the cheese lacked the stretchy texture that made it so enjoyable before. As for the soup with khinkali, it had a weaker and less flavorful taste compared to what I was used to from this place.
