Spent a really lovely evening with the family. Kids were mesmerised by the live birds, especially the canaries. Such an elegant touch. The atmosphere was very peaceful. Lots of room, tables are very spaced out, so everyone can feel a decent level of privacy.

Staff were fabulous - genuinely nice, helpful and faultless at every and any request we had. Food portions were almost too big and very filling (we took some home), cocktails were yummy, sushi were all jumbo-sized (we've had takeaway from them before and I'm quite sure they are not normally THAT big).

Note to self: Don't be fooled by the spicy sauce portions - my dad wildly overestimated his heat resistance and ordered two more portions... needless to say, minutes later he was breathing fire, to make the Mother of dragons proud.

Kids (usually fussy eaters) loved the noodles and fries. There was a small play room, but we didn't get to test it out. It was an oddly quiet evening, noise-wise, for a place filled with so many families.

Also, loved that everything we ordered came to our table very fast (restaurant was about 40% full at the time).

Would def recommend not just for families, but date nights or a girly catch-up without...

We, a group of 4, decided to pre-book a table at the newly opened Ika restaurant in Chisinau. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we found out that our reservation was not honored, and our table was given to other guests. The service was extremely poor, with a sense that the staff lacked proper training, despite the restaurant being recently opened. It took almost an hour for someone to take our order, and the waitstaff seemed disorganized and indifferent.

The menu was confusing and poorly structured, making it difficult to navigate. Additionally, there was disorder in the restaurant layout, including the placement of facilities like the dressroom. Am venit să luăm cina într-o atmosferă frumoasă și relaxantă acompaniată de muzica minunată, ca într-un final să plecăm după 2 h 30 min cu mâncarea la pachet, flămânzi și cu un gust amar după experiență avută.

Am comandat mâncarea (un set sushi 32 buc ) și băutura la orele 8-8.30. Ni s-a spus că totul se prepară în 30-35 minute. Au fost servite băuturi din partea casei, și cu acestea am stat pe tot parcursul serii. După 1h am rugat unul dintre chelneri să verifice dacă comanda este gata, chelnerul a zis că revine în 10 minute și ne oferă un răspuns, dar a venit cu o comandă care nici nu era a noastră , peste 15 min rog alt chelner să verifice comanda, la fel a menționat că 10 minute și ne oferă un răspuns ( nu a mai revenit). Abia a 3 a oară când s-a discutat ni s-au adus băuturile comandate de la orele 8.30 la orele 22.00 , menționând că mâncarea va fi în 10 minute (în tot acest timp nimeni nu ne spunea exact dacă se prepară, s-a preparat sau nici nu s-au început a prepara sushile) Într-un final am dorit să achităm băutura servită și să plecăm, căci mâncarea nu mai venea, fiind ora 22.30, iar localul se închidea la 23.00. În acel moment unul dintre chelneri ne-a adus mâncarea, dar deja nu mai aveam nici o dorință de a lua masa, localul în 20 min se închidea. La insistența chelnerului am luat comanda la pachet, ca și acasă să avem parte de o surpiză ( doar la 2 dintre seturi erau sos de soia , la 1 imbir, iar vasabi în general lipsea) Menționez că domnișoara care ne-a deservit nici un elementar "ne cerem scuze" nu a zis. Am avut 2 experiențe anterioare exact în același local, și la fel chelnerii de multe ori se lasă așteptați și nu sunt operativi, aș ruga să se ia atitudine și să se corecteze acest moment. Bucatele într-adevăr sunt gustoase și produsele proaspete, dar chelnerii( o parte din ei ) , au mult de învățat la capitolul deservirea și comunicarea cu persoanele ce le vizitează localul.
