Love this place, we discovered it towards the end of our week and went there every day for breakfast and drinks. Great food, the Boka breakfast is great value for 8 euros and fresh orange juice and iced tea delicious. The views are stunning and even when it was 37 degrees the shade and breeze kept us comfortable. The best part was the service, we discovered this restaurant by walking further after a waiter in a closer restaurant reacted very rudely when we asked for the drinks menu. I am so glad beause this was so much better. Alexander was amazing, full of smiles and jokes, nothing was too much trouble, and we were made to feel at home. Thank you. He even tried to refuse out tip, of course we insisted.

We ended up eating here because it was the only place we could find with parking at the top side of the fjord. Parking is really difficult all over the Bay of Kotor. We weren’t seated right by the water, but still had great views. DH wanted the Dalmatian Stew but was persuaded to have the red snapper as apparently that was fresh as opposed to frozen. I wanted the spaghetti with clams but that wasn’t available. I had the prawn risotto which was served with a seared scallop. The risotto was perfectly cooked. DH had the fish (filleted at the table with a spoon and fork) and served with chard and potato. Never looks that appealing once it’s been hacked about. Service was friendly.

Stopped here for a quick lunch wishing to have some oysters but feared we missed all the best places to have them. But surprise, surprise not only did they serve the freshest oysters, only 4 caught in the morning by the owner…they had the best fried squid and freshest tomato and arugula salad this side of the Adriatic Sea! Of course the view is to die for! Alexandre is the best server! Montenegro, you are amazing!

I insisted on going back to this beautiful place by the sea, where I had eaten twice a few years ago, but was unfortunately very dissapointed this time: We were given bread and olive paste "on the house" and were then surprised to be charged 1 EUR/person although there was no mention of this beforehand. The portions were rather small and expensive, although some people from the group enjoyed their meal. The so-called domestic clams are overpriced, considering you get to eat 50 grams for 19 EUR, as most of the clams were actually empty, which was very frustrating. Vegetarian options listed on the menu were not available, my vegan friend was offered pasta with "vegetables", which turned out to be your standard pasta with tomato sauce and arugula for which he had to pay 17.5 EUR, more than the same pasta but with seafood. Overall we felt ripped off and didn't really enjoy our meal, apart from the scenery and good company. Reading other reviews afterwards, it seems we were not the only ones who felt that this place has become a tourist trap. It's...

Boka Bay Restaurant offers a spectacular view and very warm, attentive service. We had two dining experiences there. On our first visit, we ordered meat and chicken — both dishes were so flavorful and well-prepared that we were impressed and decided to return the next day.

For our second visit, we chose a more elaborate seafood dish featuring fillet of sea bream, grilled tuna, squid, shrimp, and black rice. While the presentation was appealing, the flavor unfortunately did not live up to our expectations, especially given the high price. The only real highlight was the squid, which was well-cooked and tasty.

Overall, our first visit was wonderful and definitely worth it, but the second was a letdown in terms of...
