I insisted on going back to this beautiful place by the sea, where I had eaten twice a few years ago, but was unfortunately very dissapointed this time: We were given bread and olive paste "on the house" and were then surprised to be charged 1 EUR/person although there was no mention of this beforehand. The portions were rather small and expensive, although some people from the group enjoyed their meal. The so-called domestic clams are overpriced, considering you get to eat 50 grams for 19 EUR, as most of the clams were actually empty, which was very frustrating. Vegetarian options listed on the menu were not available, my vegan friend was offered pasta with "vegetables", which turned out to be your standard pasta with tomato sauce and arugula for which he had to pay 17.5 EUR, more than the same pasta but with seafood. Overall, our first visit was wonderful and definitely worth it, but the second was a letdown in terms of...
Read moreLove this place, we discovered it towards the end of our week and went there every day for breakfast and drinks.
Great food, the Boka breakfast is great value for 8 euros and fresh orange juice and iced tea delicious.
The views are stunning and even when it was 37 degrees the shade and breeze kept us comfortable.
The best part was the service, we discovered this restaurant by walking further after a waiter in a closer restaurant reacted very rudely when we asked for the drinks menu. I am so glad beause this was so much better. Alexander was amazing, full of smiles and jokes, nothing was too much trouble, and we were made to feel at home. Thank you. He even tried to refuse out tip, of course...
