My recent visit to Restaurant Vuk in Podgorica was nothing short of exceptional. This was one of the most underwhelming dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.

The service was slow and inattentive. The staff didn’t seem interested in helping, and their unfriendly attitude made the atmosphere uncomfortable from the start.

Food

The food was a huge letdown. What I received looked unappetizing and tasted even worse. The plate consisted of a slab of meat covered in melted cheese with a few fries and a tiny garnish of lettuce and onions. The meat itself was dry, bland, and tough, with no seasoning or care. The cheese was oily and overpowering, making the whole dish heavy and unpleasant. Even the fries were limp and flavorless.

Overall impression

The dish in the photo speaks for itself — a sad, greasy mess that looked hastily thrown together. The presentation was sloppy, the textures unbalanced, and the flavors completely forgettable.

In addition, I suggest trying the travarica rakija and the Arhontoiz chardonnay from Krgović Winery, which pair perfectly with the dishes. Another big plus is the spacious parking, which is a rarity in the center of Podgorica.
