The side dishes all were smelling and gone bad bad. This the proof of my purchase. I didn't take the receipt. Instead of improving your food quality, you have the balls to question the customer review and ask for receipt for proof??? Stop serving spoiled food. The fish itself was good but all the sides were spoiled and MOST IMPORTANTLY, your chef was eating while making our food & other customers food. Which is very wrong and bad, food, pieces of bread was falling from his mouth direct into our food. I didn't say anything because my wife is Moroccan and it was only couple of days after our newly marriage. I didn't want to look rude or put a Moroccan or Moroccan restaurant down infront of her and also, she had chosen this restaurant so i didn't want to put down my newly married wife in her country. We ordered one kilo of sea bream fish. So have some respect for yourself, instead arguing with customer over the honest review. Correct there points I mentioned. AS PROOF, now you can check your cameras and see if your chef was eating while making the foods or not and if I am wrong then I will pay your whole months of sale. DEAR, fellow customers, COMPLETELY AVOID THIS RESTAURANT UNTIL THYE CORRECT THESE MEASURES AND ACCEPT THIER FAULT AND APOLOGIZE PUBLICLY TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. That's all I...
Read moreOur culinary voyage in Tangier, Morocco, culminated in an unforgettable experience at Antartique restaurant. Having indulged in countless seafood feasts in San Diego, we yearned for a palate-pleasing alternative to the ubiquitous tagine. Guided by glowing Google reviews, we ventured into this haven, where we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes. The host, a true connoisseur, expertly guided us through the selection of the freshest catches. He presented samples, patiently explaining the nuances of each preparation – grilled, baked, or sautéed – ensuring our preferences were perfectly met. Our feast was a symphony of flavors: two impeccably prepared whole fishes, succulent oysters, and tender calamari. Each dish was a testament to the chef's artistry, a masterpiece of freshness and technique. To cap off this exquisite culinary journey, we indulged in a selection of delectable desserts. Beyond the sublime food, the service was impeccable, attentive, and truly personalized. The ambiance was enchanting, creating the perfect backdrop for our memorable dining experience. Without hesitation, I award this restaurant seven stars – a testament to its exceptional food, service, and ambiance. It undoubtedly ranks among the finest seafood destinations we have...
Read moreI have had the pleasure of visiting this clean and welcoming establishment twice over the last few months. Both times I have been served by waiters with excellent customer service. I don't speak Arabic very much apart from the basics and the waiters don't speak English but this did not stop them from making me feel comfortable and welcome at all times, and that applies to the lady who sits at the til as well as the chefs
The dishes I recommend are the fish soup, which is beautifully presented, and the shark or bluefin tuna steaks. Also the calamari is a solid shout but I found the salads to be quite average. One time I ordered the bluefin tuna steak and it had excessive amounts of salt on it but the waiter had it replaced for me without any fuss and with a smile on his face
This is the best restaurant in Tangier to eat seafood and very reasonably priced too, I do not recall paying more than MAD200 for 4 high quality dishes with large portions. You would do well to follow the advice of people who have more than 1 review to their name instead of devils who come on this platform just to spread slanderous allegations which cannot be proven
Thank you restaurant Antartique and see you...
