If you’re craving a culinary adventure that’s part desert safari, part Bollywood blockbuster, and all delicious, Clay Oven in Casablanca is your go-to! 🍛🔥
First off, the food is a flavor explosion—think Moroccan spices having a Bollywood dance party in your mouth! 💃🕌 The naan is so fluffy I wanted to take it home as a pillow, and the curry had me doing a happy dance right at the table. 🕺🍛 The blend of Indian and Moroccan flavors creates a symphony of tastes that will make your taste buds sing. I tried the chicken tikka and the tagine, and both were cooked to perfection—seriously, I’m pretty sure the chef is a magician. ✨
The atmosphere? Imagine a mash-up of Moroccan mosaics and Indian Bollywood glam—it's like dining in a palace with a spicy twist! 🕌🎬 The décor is vibrant and lively, making you feel like you’ve stepped into a colorful dream. The music adds to the vibe—there’s a little bit of everything, from traditional Moroccan tunes to Bollywood beats that get your hips moving whether you want them to or not. 💃🎶 The lighting is cozy but lively—perfect for a fun night out or a romantic dinner.
The service? Absolutely fantastic! The staff is super friendly, attentive, and genuine—like they’re old friends welcoming you back! 😊🙌 They made sure our glasses were never empty (yes, they’re that good at reading your mind) and even shared some fun stories about the restaurant’s history. They laughed at my terrible jokes, which I consider a bonus, and recommended dishes that turned out to be hits.
And let’s not forget the drinks! They have some interesting mocktails and traditional Moroccan mint tea that pairs perfectly with the spicy dishes. 🍹🍵
If you’re tired of the same old, same old, Clay Oven will spice up your life—literally! 🌶️✨ It’s a hidden gem that’s worth the trip, whether you're a local or just passing through Casablanca. It’s perfect for a lively dinner with friends, a romantic date night, or even a family outing.
So, bring your appetite, your dancing shoes, and your best jokes—you're gonna need them! 😂🎉 Trust me, this place is a flavor fiesta you won’t forget.

Read moreWe recently dined at Clear Oven Restaurant with a group of 11, and while the experience was okay, there were several issues that need improvement. The food was decent but nothing exceptional. We ordered dal makhani, chicken tikka, butter chicken, saag paneer, and paneer gosht. While the flavors were fine, nothing stood out as particularly memorable.
The biggest disappointment was the service, which was very slow. The food came out in bits and pieces, making it difficult for our group to enjoy a cohesive meal. The bread, for example, took 10-15 minutes to arrive after the main dishes, forcing us to eat with spoons in the meantime. When we brought this up with the manager, he didn’t seem receptive to our concerns, which added to the frustration.
However, the owner later came to speak with us and was very understanding. He acknowledged the issues in the kitchen and explained the delays. He even went above and beyond by removing some extra charges from the bill, which we appreciated.
Overall, while the owner’s response was kind and professional, the slow service and average food made it an okay experience. There’s potential for improvement, and hopefully, they’ll address the issues for a better dining experience...
