Kalaat assahi — Restaurant in El Jadida

The food at restaurant is good but the female manager ruined the experience. We asked her to remove the water bottle from our bill which we didn’t order or use. The manager was reluctant to remove it and insulted the nice waiter in front of us who placed water on our table. I was shocked to see her rude behaviour. We were billed for two teas when we only ordered one. When I asked the manager to take that off the bill, she just shrugged her shoulders. I didn’t fuss about it and paid but then she charged my credit card not once but twice. After first transaction, she said the transaction didn’t go through. I asked her to check the machine log but she rudely shrugged her shoulders again and asked me to pay again. I made the second transaction. Few hours later after I left, my bank alerted me of two transactions. I ended up driving back to the restaurant to get the transaction reversed. Thankfully managed to get money back. We visited this restaurant on a Friday evening specifically for their couscous, and to our surprise, we had the entire place to ourselves. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with traditional décor that gave the space an authentic and cozy feel.

The couscous was exceptional—generously portioned and bursting with flavor. The Tfaya topping was beautifully sweet, complementing the savory elements of the dish perfectly. The vegetables and meats were tender and perfectly cooked—so soft, you didn’t even need a knife.

Pessima accoglienza, personale falso (come tutto il Marocco), ristorante buono solo per fare foto. Addirittura il cameriere falso, per non servirmi al piano superiore ha detto che non funzionava il WiFi. Poi andando al bagno, mi sono accorto che c'era un ottimo segnale. Ora capisco perché oggi, di sabato era l'unico ristorante completamente vuoto.

Mauvais accueil, faux personnel (comme tout le Maroc), restaurant seulement bon pour prendre des photos. Même le faux serveur, pour ne pas m'avoir servi à l'étage, a déclaré que le WiFi ne fonctionnait pas. Puis en allant aux toilettes, je me suis rendu compte qu'il y avait un très bon signal. Maintenant je comprends pourquoi aujourd'hui, un samedi, c'était le seul restaurant qui était complètement vide.

Bad reception, fake staff (like all of Morocco), restaurant only good for taking pictures. Even the fake waiter, for not serving me upstairs said the WiFi didn't work. Then going to the bathroom, I realized that there was a very good signal. Now I understand why today, on a Saturday, it was the only restaurant that was completely empty.
