Cook'in Kech — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

For context, I am from the United States, visiting Morocco for vacation! This restaurant is very attractive with a lot of options. The menu has a lot of European/Western influence, at least based on what we saw. We went on a Monday at 3pm (15h) for a meal and there were a couple of other people there, so it was nice to be somewhere that wasn’t very busy, as we needed to relax. We sat outside on the front patio, and they offered to lower the sun protective screen for us, which we appreciated! We unfortunately do not speak Arabic or French, but they had an employee who was able to speak English with us and who was very patient and attentive (the English-speaker was an unexpected but welcome surprise). They gave us bread, olives, and small cheese fried rolls to dip in a sauce to start, which we enjoyed! We ordered the Tomahawk steak, with vegetables and mashed potatoes, and the fish of the day with vegetables. We also ordered orange juice. Everything tasted good! My tomahawk steak was more cooked than I had requested, but it tasted good anyway, so I didn’t say anything and just enjoyed. I also took my leftovers to-go and they reheated wonderfully. My friend finished his entire meal and enjoyed everything. When leaving, I grabbed a dessert from their case that had chocolate and almond, and that tasted nice. The best food in Marrakech! We have been staying here for a few weeks and have come back multiple times now.

The Tomahawk steak is simply amazing, as is the Beef Wok. My partner loves the Fish of the day specials and they also do a killer Milkshake.

Very impolite waiter who simply interrupted us in the middle of our lunch asking us to finish our meal on the outdoor terasse under the scorching sun, with the absurd reason that they were expecting other guests who reserved tables... What kind of behaviour is that??? a first in Morocco!
