I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nouba Restaurant during my visit to Marrakech, and I must say that it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. Everything about this place exceeded my expectations, and I am delighted to share my five-star review.

First and foremost, the service at Nouba is unparalleled. The staff members are incredibly attentive, friendly, and accommodating. From the moment we stepped foot inside the restaurant, we were greeted with warm smiles and made to feel like VIP guests. The waitstaff's attention to detail and their dedication to ensuring our satisfaction truly impressed me. It's evident that they prioritize customer service, and it greatly enhanced our overall dining experience.

Now let's talk about the food. Wow! Nouba serves some of the most remarkable dishes I have ever tasted. Each bite was a burst of flavors that left my taste buds in awe. The menu offers a fantastic selection international cuisine, expertly prepared with high-quality ingredients. From the fragrant tagines to the perfectly seasoned couscous, every dish was a true masterpiece. The presentation of the food was impeccable, and the portion sizes were generous. Without a doubt, Nouba earns a resounding 10/10 for its outstanding culinary creations.

But what sets Nouba apart from other restaurants in Marrakech is its mesmerizing show. The entertainment provided was absolutely one of a kind. As we enjoyed our delicious meal, we were treated to a captivating performance that showcased the vibrant culture and artistic heritage of Morocco. The dancers, musicians, and acrobats created an enchanting atmosphere that left us in awe throughout the evening. It was a feast for the senses, combining extraordinary talent with the rich traditions of the country.

In addition to the exceptional service, remarkable food, and captivating show, Nouba Restaurant boasts a beautiful ambiance. The interior design is elegant and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail in the restaurant's aesthetics adds to the overall dining experience and makes it an ideal place for any occasion.

To sum it up, my experience at Nouba Restaurant was nothing short of outstanding. The top-notch customer service, delectable food, and extraordinary show make it an absolute gem in Marrakech. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're a local or a traveler, Nouba is the place to go for an authentic taste of the best cuisine, impeccable service, and a truly unforgettable evening.

Nouba team, thank you for the...

I've been here with my wife tonight and I haven't ever had service this bad. The evening started nice with nice seating near the show in the center of the establishment. Initially, the staff was reactive and helpful. But, we asked for some bread and dips, but never got it. The starter was good, and the portion was OK, but we ordered a second starter. The starter was brought pretty quick. However, it all started with a huge group coming in, which immediately reflected on the responsiveness of the staff. In other words, they were basically not present anymore and getting their attention was second to none. When the main course was brought eventually, the waiter tipped over the glass of drink of my wife and never brought a replacement. The table was wet and dirty after that, and not cleaned. The main course was actually very bad (while the starter was ok); my wife's fish was dry and flavorless (seabass, they say it's a signature dish) and my filet mignon was not medium rare at all and chewy. The mashed potato was dry and flavorless. Yet again, the filet mignon should be a signature dish. To get some taste at least I asked for salt and pepper (which took 5 minutes to get a waiters attention), and was brought eventually after another 5 minutes. In other words, the food was cold after that. Fine, in the meantime there were some shows, which were nice, but not special. It took 30 minutes before our (half full) main course plates were finally cleared off the table. Me and my wife discussed what we were going to do, and still decided to get desert. However, after waiting for 40 minutes and noone responded or was willing to assist us (which is funny, because I was willing to spent more money) we decided to leave and go to the reception to be at least anle to pay there. The moment we got up, a waiter came to ask where we were going, so apparently they do pay attention. Finally, I was able to pay, after waiting a total of 1 hour, without being able to order drinks, desert or whatever else I would want.

Nouba was understaffed, so on the one hand I can understand, but I spent a lot of money on food, and I have gotten better service from street food vendors around the world.

Additionally, I was recommended to go to Nouba by a close friend of the owner of Nouba. Unfortunately, it was a mistake.

Don't...

I would strongly advise against visiting Nouba. Despite paying the same premium price as everyone else for a fixed three-course experience, we were seated at the very back with a direct view of a screen used by waiters to place orders. Every few minutes, multiple staff members would gather in front of us, completely blocking the view of the show. While others enjoyed the performance unobstructed, we were left frustrated and disappointed.

On top of that, I had carefully noted all my food allergies before the evening and even discussed them with the waiter, who impressively seemed to know them already. Yet when my dish arrived, I immediately noticed one of my allergens in the food. I pointed this out, and while my partner received his dish, mine was taken away. My replacement meal didn’t arrive until 10–15 minutes later, by which point my partner had already finished eating. This meant we couldn’t even enjoy dinner together.

The quality of the food itself was underwhelming, especially given the price point. For dessert, the “fruit salad” was literally just a pile of chopped fruit thrown into a bowl — no decoration, no presentation, nothing to reflect the premium experience they claim to offer. It looked lazy and unappealing.

At the end of the night, we raised our concerns and asked for some form of goodwill gesture given the poor experience. Instead of handling the situation with professionalism, the manager disappeared without returning, and the waiter came back with a flat “no.” Security was then called, and while even the security guard acknowledged our point and agreed the situation was unfair, we were told there was “nothing to be done” and pressured to just pay and leave. To make matters worse, the waiter sarcastically asked if he should pay for our meal.

This kind of attitude and lack of accountability is completely unacceptable, especially from a restaurant charging premium prices. It ruined what was supposed to be our last, special evening in Marrakech. The city is known for its warm hospitality, but Nouba failed spectacularly in this regard.

Save yourself the disappointment and...

Beautiful Venue no doubt, Entertainment Absolutely amazing No Doubt it’s what keeps the place going. Front women staff not friendly nor helpful, Iv been here each year same time for my birthday first time giving 5* but 4* is giving recent reviews of overall service. My friend had booked a birthday booking requesting central seats instead getting there we got shoved to the back table where you couldn’t even see the stage not one bit of it very out of order but manager on site managed to sort us out which was very kind of him :) he saved the day he did as I would have just left if I had to sit where they put me not when I always get front row seats. Food menu had changed from last year it was nice set menus Asian one last year based on 2 ppl but this year was based on 4 ppl sharing which our group only had 3 ppl who didn’t want the same thing so I was forced to order something random. I ordered the chicken dish and asked if I could have with rice but was told it comes with potatoes so I said ok no problem..my food came out COLD And I saw like 2 sliced potatoes underneath the chicken and that was my dish I basically had a bunch of chickens for dinner it got abit too much. After explaining was cold got it taken away and sent back the same coldness 🥴😂😅I didn’t even bother complaining again I gave up and left it. Desert was not great in my photo last year they had a nice chocolate cake which was more nicer that looked similar to the caramel one.. cocktails full of ice more than drinks 😅basically your paying for ice water.. best thing was entertainment & Decor of venue :) I’d recommend you eat before you come and just go for drinks but tell them not ice cocktails.. come from like 9pm onwards as Moroccans don’t eat early so the vibes and entertainment stats from 9pm. Definitely recommend this place to come to during your stay :) xxx
