Finzi Rabat — Restaurant in Souissi السويسي

We recently dined at FINZI and were genuinely impressed by the food – it was truly excellent! I had the grilled fillet, which was cooked to perfection, and the chicken pizza was absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic and well-balanced, definitely one of the better Italian meals we've had in a while.

However, I do want to mention one issue that impacted our experience. We initially chose to sit on the terrace to enjoy the ambiance, but unfortunately, there were quite a few ants and even a gecko around our table. My wife has a strong phobia of such creatures, so we had to move inside.

It would be great if the restaurant could invest in some proper pest control for the outdoor area. It’s a lovely space and could be much more enjoyable with a bit of maintenance.

Had the lasagna bolognese - How did they manage to make it bitter? Most disgusting lasagne I've ever had in my life.

The pizza Margherita came with no basil. What kind of Margherita pizza comes with no basil? We asked the server to take it back to add basil. Still wasn't good.

Then the desserts, the tiramisu and profiteroles maison. The tiramisu was dry and topped with cheap whipped cream that I scraped off. The profiteroles were not profiteroles because they were filled with low-quality ice cream, not cream. Both desserts were as bad as the food.

And the music? Loud, annoying African dance music. Totally goes against the atmosphere.

The only good things are the glass bottles for coca cola and the service.

I was disappointed by the quality of food. I was really expecting more from the place but the way that it is decorated. I ordered a ravioli that was very mediocre. There was nothing special to the taste and parts of it were soggy. The taste was okay, but overcooked ravioli. The staff are nice, they accepted us even though we didn’t have a reservation and it was a busy night. We didn’t get to sit inside because it was full, so I can’t properly judge the atmosphere, but the area next to the entrance is pretty dull and boring.
