Boteco — Restaurant in Maputo

I went there to have dinner with my boyfriend. The place was empty and when the waiter came, he only gave us one menu. I asked for a babalaza hot dog and my boyfriend asked for an espetada de frango with potatoes bravos. A different waiter came to say that they didn't have batatas bravas and we said okay. The babalaza hot dog was not what we were expecting, 1st it was a tiny babalaza that was cut in the middle( one tiny babalaza divided in two parts(the bread was dry and it was not a bread for hot dog. This gem of a place is one of my favourites in Maputo. As a friend of mine said "this would be hipster in NY or London, here it us just natural and cozy". It is the closest to a proper pub/bar feel you'll get in Maputo. Also, the beer is cold, cocktails great and the wine list is surprisingly good.
