Steers — Restaurant in Erongo Region

don’t often go to Steers, and Steers Namibia has managed to remind me why that is.

Ordered food at 1930 at Steers Platz am Meer. 2 Burgers and a large Chips. Relatively simple, one would think. However, turned out to wait until about 2110 (well into the COVID 19 government mandated curfew). Yes. Over 90 minutes for 2 burgers and a small portion of chips. 🤨

Management seemed more interested in shouting at customers who were asking for refunds (that were refused due to unknown reasons). Kitchen staff not only overwhelmed (remember, management is busy shouting at customers) but totally ignoring basic COVID-19 guidelines. No masks. No sanitizing. And this while handling food.

Food, once it finally arrived was utterly disappointing. Burgers were both burnt and ice cold, a feat here to though impossible. Chips were undercooked and under seasoned.
