The restaurant, Native Kitchen, had a nice and airy space, and service was polite. The food here is not good though. It tasted like pre-processed airline food and was more expensive than it deserved. Don't let convenience lure you into bad, expensive, food.
We had: the watermelon feta salad, a margherita pizza, shoestring fries, and chicken Tikka masala with naan. Only the salad and the fries tasted good. The salad was refreshing and was a large portion for 2 people. The fries, while called "shoestring", were stardard cut, like fast food fries in the U.S., not actually shoestring as in very thin cut fries.
The margherita pizza was on a semolina coated crust with no oven-baked char. To top, a mozarella cheese that tasted and reminded me of string cheese. The pizza sauce was barely noticeable and there wasn't much basil on top either.
For the tikka masala with a side of naan, the naan bread tasted hard and stale, was difficult to tear and eat. It definitely looked and tasted like packaged naan.
I don't recommend eating here unless you can't get off the Village/Outpost hotel grounds for any reason. You'll be overpaying for subpar food and the local cuisine options are even more expensive on the menu. Highly disappointing restaurant experience compared the the hotel it is attached to (the one...

Read moreRead moreWe ordered Indonesian Fried Rice, Aglio Olio, Penne, Chicken Alfredo and Hawaiian Pizza, all tasted good. Price was a bit steep though, with the main dishes costing about $28-$35. But the killer was the 3-skewer satay costing $22!!! Drinks (non-alcoholic) also cost $10. When the staff knew we were celebrating our kid’s birthday, they gave us a complimentary cupcake and even sang a birthday song for her. The cupcake tasted good! Staff were friendly although they looked understaffed. Had to wait a bit to get some attention. Two of our dishes came really late (I suspect they missed them out), and when the Aglio finally came, it was spicy even though we asked for non-spicy. The staff promptly got it replaced. We did not make a fuss as the staff was really apologetic. And he surprised us by waiving some costs off our final bill. Although there were hiccups, I would say the staff deserved credit for...
