I recently visited the Korean BBQ Restaurant located in Lalitpur, and overall, I had a positive experience. The restaurant's environment was well managed and had a welcoming atmosphere that almost felt like a Korean vibe.
The staff at the restaurant were extremely friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. They were very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some great recommendations. The service was prompt, and we never had to wait long for our food to arrive.
As for the food itself, I would say it was okay. The Korean BBQ dishes we ordered were decent but not exceptional. The quality of the ingredients was good, but the taste was a bit underwhelming. However, the portions were generous, and we left feeling full and satisfied.
Despite the food not being outstanding, I would still recommend this restaurant for its welcoming environment and great staff. The experience was enjoyable, and the atmosphere really made us feel like we were in Korea. If you're looking for a unique dining experience with good service, the Korean BBQ Restaurant in Lalitpur is definitely...
Read moreOur Nepalese friends invited us to dine at this establishment, believing we might be craving Korean food after two days of local cuisine.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality—it exceeded our expectations. The kimchi was authentically flavorful, the BBQ pork belly was well-marinated and cooked to perfection, and the bibimbap was satisfying.
One unexpected aspect was the hot tea, which was unlike anything we’ve encountered at other Korean restaurants.
Service was attentive, with staff expertly preparing and grilling the BBQ dishes, as is customary in such establishments.
Overall, we would recommend this place for anyone seeking quality Korean food in Nepal. While the prices for main dishes like the pork belly and army stew may be on the higher side, the quality more than justifies the cost.
Update: The restaurant replied to my review and indicated that the tea served was Cinnamon tea which is beneficial for health in the cold weather. That is good and we appreciate it. What the restaurant can do is to explain it to customers so that we can better...
Read moreFinally a good korean restaurant in the city. They just opened so the menu is a bit limited. However, the food is very much worth it. The samgyepsal amount is quite good for the price. I think the meat could be cured/salted beforehand. The fried chicken used tempura batter which is very clever s it amplifies the taste. Dakdoritang was well presented but could be better tastewise. Kimchi jjiggae was good but inconsistent over the few days we had visited. But all in all a great place. Parking situation is good. They have imported korean ice cream and Soju. Visitors also have the opportunity to wear Hanbok, a traditional korean dress to take pictures. And, if you visit regularly they do offer a...
