What a great asset for Amstelveen! It's located in a residential area, on the ground floor of a snazzy apartment building. The advantage is that it's easy to park if coming by car, and there is a terrace outside in between buildings (and not on the sidewalk with streets passing by). I had one of the freshest pad thai, reminiscent of my favourite place in Thailand, and favourite Thai resident in the River area of Amsterdam (Kong Kha), I've had since. My husband had a stir-fried duck breast with black mushrooms (Chinese cuisine also uses this one, it's called something with "ears"). The interior is light, tastefully and nicely done, we had a table next to a nice bamboo plant. The wine list is sympathetic, with wines from different regions/countries across a good price spectrum.
