Benny's Lunchroom — Restaurant in Amsterdam

I enter in a hurry and mention that I haven't been here before, then ask if there's any food that I can take away IMMEDIATELY and the guy that works there assures me that there is.

I have him list a few options then picked one and paid. He tells me I can take a seat, to which I reply that I don't want to take a seat. I want my food right away so I can leave.

I end up waiting there around 1-2 minutes after the fact and have to leave already, despite paying for food that I haven't received.

Am I wrong or did the definition of "immediately" change to "Something we can make after a few minutes" while I...

Slechtste koffie ooit gehad.

Vandaag gegaan, cappuccino besteld en verwachtte om te genieten. Laatste keer dat ik er was geweest (2 jaar geleden) was de koffie namelijk overheerlijk, maar deze keer was ik een kopje diarree geserveerd. De melk was verrot. Als eerst leek het mij onwaarschijnlijk dat Benny's dat zou serveren, maar na 2 slokken wist ik het zeker. Afschuwlijk. Ik loop naar de kassa met mijn 90% ongedronken koffie, ook al had ik al betaald, om ze te laten weten dat de melk bedorven was. "Oh, de koffie was dus smerig? Ok." Geen "yo sorry daarvoor, wil je een glas water om die rotsmaak weg te spoelen?", of iets in de buurt van excuses.
