Daddy Kuku — Restaurant in Amsterdam

I had the smashburger with twister fries through order. No problem with order itself. However, surprisingly (looking at the other reviews) I am not happy with the food itself. Maybe, it was not their day and this was one time issue. Unfortunately the burger was dry, of course you can not get very juicy with smash burgers, but this was really unenjoyable dry. Also with the twister fries, it was seasoned ridiculously heavily and too salty, again not very enjoyable. It was surprising since it is the first time I did not like twister fries and actually did not finish it. One positive thing, the portions were good, which is quite refreshing in Amsterdam. Just leaving this one star review here to let everyone know about this. This restaurant considers 5 pieces of popcorn chicken a serving. 5 pieces of popcorn chicken costs €8. It’s not even fresh popcorn chicken, I know they buy a giant frozen bag of popcorn chicken very cheaply from one of their suppliers. €8 for 5 pieces of popcorn chicken that were clearly from a giant frozen bag....

Uber eats order** Considering the reviews and simplicity of the items we were hoping for better. instead of the chik'n burger, a veggie burger was sent, the corn was drowning in butter, there were sweet pickles instead of dill pickles which isnt a US style burger. Overall, this was incredibly disappointing for €60 spent. We wont be ordering...
