In the bustling heart of the city lies Boes and Beis, a quaint coffee shop that serves as a serene sanctuary for the weary urbanite. Its inviting alfresco setup is a charming invitation to indulge in a moment of peace, with a coffee in hand.During my visit, the tableau at Boes and Beis was nothing short of picturesque. Two beautifully crafted lattes took center stage on a wooden table that whispered stories of countless such shared moments. The foam art on each latte was a testament to the baristas' meticulous craft, and the petite, tempting treat on the side was a delightful nod to the sweeter things in life.Surrounded by the muted symphony of the city, Boes and Beis offers a respite where one can savor the simple pleasures. Raindrops serenaded the setting, adding to the café's allure, inviting patrons to linger a little longer.Boes and Beis is not just a coffee shop; it's a destination for those seeking solace in the city's arms. Each visit promises an escape into a world where quality coffee and tranquility are served with...
Read moreI have been here 3 times . Great apple pie, butter cake, coffee and pancakes. The only small complaint I have is the service . 2 out of the 3 times it was not good but the first time it was great with a nice guy who was very personable. Things that were not so great recently was tables not being cleaned and there was a white hair or strand of some sort in my granola . I showed the waitress who fixed it but it was a little off putting as it was deep into the yogurt and I noticed after I started eating. Another thing I noticed was that after she brought out a new one, it wasn’t of the same quality. Wayy less granola than the one I had minutes before . There was noticeably 0 Brazil nuts while the first one had at least 7. I still paid full price for my meal but it did dampen the experience a bit. The picture shows the original one. I wish I took a photo of the second. When I went to pay she asked how was everything. I said ok besides a hair situation . She said “ok at cool”and told me the price. My sister had the burrata...
Read moreHave visited this place on several occasions for a coffee before work, always had good coffee and service with a smile. Tonight I had to work away from home and stay in the city, with some work to do and alone in Amsterdam I thought where better to go than to the place I was made to feel comfortable enough to sit alone. Ordered a cocktail, took out my laptop, to be delivered my drink and told this is a laptop free zone .. so you will need to put that right away, I feel was quite rude and disrespectful. The place was quiet with about 5 tables scattered around, few staff sat at the bar. Such a shame, I left with out finishing the drink (of course paid in full) and unfortunately won’t return after being made to feel quite...
