Playa Sende — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Terrible service! Ordered on Uber Eats. Waited 3,5 hours!! Ended up getting cancelled on.

After the first 1,5 hours we started calling the restaurant and they did not pick up! After 2 hours we called, they said give them 30 more minutes they only have 1 chef (the lady’s voice was aggressive). Is it my problem they have 1 chef? Sounds like THEIR issue. No one said sorry or anything. She was very rude.

After 3 hours it finally shows up as on its way to us. THEN waited 15 more minutes it just shows up at CANCELLED. What the actual… COULD HAVE JUST CANCELED IT IN THE BEGINNING IF YOU CANT DO IT.

They hire tiktokers and reviewers to promote their restaurant when they don’t even have the capacity to...

Great spot for some good food! Loved the atmosphere. As you enter you feel like you’re back on the island of Curaçao. The food was de-li-cious!!! The music choice was entertaining. It’s a very clean spot. You can actually see all the cooks in all their glory. The owner is also very kind. Only critique would be the service. We sat there for 10 minutes without the waitress even attempting to ask if we would like something to drink. So we had to walk over and order ourselves. If the server was a bit more attentive or at least had told us beforehand to place the order at the counter, I’d definitely have given...

Today I have @playasende for you guys It’s a Carribean spot located in Amsterdam west📍 they have a large menu with dishes such as: Surf & turf, Seafood boxes, Sende Side and much more I ordered the *Sende menu 1 is comes with corn 🌽 , Tasty Mac and cheese 🧀 , veggie rice & asparagus. My 2 favorite thing on the platter are the grilled shrimp its juicy and on top it’s well seasoned with chimichurri sauce 😙👌🏾 The salmon too, well seasoned not over cooked i still had that soft bite to it.
