Brouwerij & Proeflokaal Puik Bieren — Restaurant in Apeldoorn

Okay, wow. I was not expecting to have this kind of experience here, but by jove, I sure did. The quality you get at this place is found in extremely few other places, let me tell you why...

Staff: Very, very friendly. They're attentive, they pay attention to everyone and also make casual talk with guests. Their service is absolutely impeccable, so props to the staff for being as awesome as they are!

Food: This isn't really a place known for good food, but damn, it really should be. I didn't see the chefs myself, but they managed to smoke a salmon and cook a meatball to near-perfection. If the salmon has the taste of the wood it was smoked with and the meatball doesn't even require a knife because of how tender the meat is, you know the cooks know exactly what they're doing. They really deserve all the praise.

Drinks: I mean... it's a brewery. Of course you'll find good beer here.

In all seriousness, though, these folks are very knowledgeable about beer, know what to recommend and put a lot of attention and love into their craft. The beers I've had from Puik so far have each tasted absolutely great and go well with food, too. If you're looking to have a proper brewski in Apeldoorn, there's no better place than here, and that says a lot.

Wat een toevoeging is deze proeferij/brouwerij voor de stad Apeldoorn. Puik heeft een geweldig assortiment van verschillende speciaal bieren voor ieder wat wils. Alle bieren die Puik produceert (en ik heb ze zo wat allemaal geprobeerd) zijn rijkelijk van smaak. Daarbij is de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding gewoon uitstekend! Bij Puik is het mogelijk een proefplank te bestellen met 3 goed gevulde glazen vanuit de hele kaart. Daarbij kun je bij Puik ook eten van de kaart erbij bestellen, waarbij de porties echt omvangrijk zijn. Maar wat dit vooral een 5steren bedrijf maakt, is het zeer bekwaamde en gastvrije personeel. Elke keer wanneer we weer een biertje komen drinken bij Puik zijn we weer blij verrast over de uitstraling van het personeel en hun kennis over de eigen bieren, waarbij verschillende personeelsleden ook eigen biervarianten verzinnen.
