Fong Sho — Restaurant in Assen

All around solid food, best Chinese & Indonesian cuisine in town.

This place used to not be on my radar but after other places in town switched ownership a decade ago, their quality faultered and so I came to Fong Sho. If you want Chinese in & around Assen, this is the place to go.

Their menu offers a lot of options to everyone's taste from the oriental kitchen. If you're vegetarian you might want to look at the menu yourself beforehand because there aren't a lot of options. The prices are reasonable and offer both more feast-like options as well as more modest tableside menus where you can pick 3 mains and have a choice between noodles, fried rice or plain white rice as a side.

All in all, a very varied and qualitatively...

Als vegetarier ben je er aan gewend dat als je vegetarisch besteld dat je de zelfde prijs betaald als met vlees ondanks dat er voedsel uit de gerechten verdwijnt. Sinds kort vragen ze extra geld aan vegetariërs en mensen met allergieën. Blijkbaar ondanks dat je dure vlees soorten niet krijgt kost het hun te veel om rekening te houden met wensen van anderen .

Er zijn meerdere Chinese restaurants in Assen die niks extra vragen ik adviseer mensen daar heen te gaan ook qua smaak en versheid is die boven het stadion beter.
