Went here on the final day of the Tata Steel Chess Tournament and saw Anish Giri's historic win on the screen, as they had a livestream of the event in this establishment. However, even that momentous occasion aside, I immensely enjoyed myself here! The food and drinks were great, the staff were lovely, and it has a super fun atmosphere. I liked how everything was themed around ships, and it was a cozy place where you can relax and have some fun with friends. There are board games available so if you don't know how to fill the silence with small talk you can play those (or you can just play them anyway for the glory of winning, of course). Super gezellig kroegje. Wij waren er met een vrijgezellenfeest waarvan de vrijgezel verkleed was als viking. We kregen deze kroeg aangeraden en het was gelijk een succes. Kroeg was aangekleed in vikingsferen. Bij aankomst kregen we van de vriendelijke barman gelijk een warm welkom met een mede (vikingdrank) van het huis. Daarnaast kregen we drinkhoorns om mee op de foto te gaan. We hoefden ons niet te vervelen. Naast de vele gezelschapsspellen werd er een bord opgehangen waar we bijltjes konden gooien.
