It is too cramped. The tables and chairs are too close together. You cannot sit comfortably. When you are eating, you are elbowing the person sitting next to you. And, when you are getting up, you will inconvenience the people sitting behind you. The path between the tables is too narrow and they will have to scoot forward.

The restaurant offers a few “premium” items, like crab legs on the hot buffet table, oysters on the cold buffet table and coquilles on the grill. The crab legs were very good. The coquilles were tasty. The oysters were suspicious. I tried one. It did not taste fresh. So, I did not have another one.

The grill was an absolute mess. Only one chef. And, he had a lot of trouble communicating with the guests. You can order two items per time. You are not allowed to order for anyone else. The fish and meat are behind the grill, so you cannot choose your own cut. The grilled salmon was good. The serving size was tiny. The grilled lamb chops were good too. The grilled beef was not very good. I tried the Ossenhaas, Ribeye and T-Bone and they were all not tasty.

All the wok items tasted strongly of gas. I am not sure if the heat was on too high. Every single item had a “butane” flavour. We were not sure if the food was safe to eat, so we did not.

The sushi was good. The makis were tasty. The wakame and edamame were awful. They both had an artificial, sugary taste.

You can order freshly prepared pancakes. However, there is only one chef preparing them and preparing them takes a while, so you have to queue for a bit. The pancake was crispy, but oily. I decorated mine with chocolate from the fountain and whipped cream. Both tasted cheap. The chocolate was just sugar. You can also scoop your own icecream. The icecream tasted cheap. All the flavours were awful, especially the banana.

They had a fridge with desserts. All the desserts were not fresh. Defrosted. And, they were all dry and tasteless. I tried the Frosted Donut, Regular Profiterole and Banana Profiterole and they were all awful. I also tried both cheesecakes. One was yellow and one was pink. We arrived to a queue at this restaurant and it was packed to the seams. It is a buffet style restaurant with a wok and a teriyaki counter. It is a great concept to get two alcoholic drinks and the non alcoholic drinks are included in the price. Do arrive hungry as there is a lot of dishes to try out. This is not a place for people who dislike crowds as people are everywhere and not always as respectful for other people. We started out with a few starter dishes such as shrimps, oysters, duck, loempia's and sushi. For mains, we tried their suriname inspired dishes such as chicken with veggies in a hot sauce and the nasi and bami dishes. The wok and teriyaki are the most popular and the lines were long. Ben gisteren voor het eerst wezen eten hier conclusie is 1 ster.

Bij binnenkomst om 17:30 netjes ontvangen alleen konden ze onze reservering niet meer vinden na wat zoeken bleek dat ze ons al hadden door gestreept maar alsnog gewoon netjes een tafel gekregen.

Reataurant zelf is leuk ingericht dat was voor mij een ster waard je ziet verschillende interieurs met verschillende kleuren wat ik heel mooi vond en bij elkaar vond passen.

Onze tafel zag er netjes uit, schoon en opgedekt, dus het opscheppen kon beginnen. Na een eerste rondje te hebben gelopen was ik niet echt onder de indruk, zag vele bakjes die bijna leeg waren en dat terwijl het nog niet eens druk was. Bijna overal had je een bordje staan waaruit je kon lezen wat voor soort eten het was dat was wel prettig. Je hebt alleen een eiland aan de raam kant waar ze borden hebben liggen wel afgedekt met folie (zag er netjrs uit) en daar staan dus geen bordjes bij met wat het is, dat vind ik wel jammer als je het herkent heb je geluk anders moet je het vragen als je er net toevallig iemand langs loopt.

Voor het uitzicht hoef je het niet te doen tenzij je gras of rijdende auto voorbij ziet rijden leuk vind.

Tafel werden steeds netjes afgeruimd door de studenten zonder te klagen, alleen omdat restaurant iets te klein is stonden ze bij de drank afdeling wat niet handig is ivm voldoende afstand houden.

Wat ik ook jammer vond is toen het eenmaal drukker werd je duidelijk kon merken dat deze restaurant eigenlijk te klein is om voldoende afstand te houden de eilanden waar je kunt scheppen, de ijshoek en drankhoek staan zo dichtbij elkaar dat je rij vorming kreeg en toen ben ik gewoon weg gelopen tot het ietjes rustiger werd, want denk toch liever aan mij eigen veiligheid.

Met nog 30 min te gaan voor ons kwam er een medewerker naar een tafel achter ons en deze tafel kreeg verzoek om te vertrekken tot 3x toe wat hun tijd was om, terwijl wij eerder binnen kwamen dan die tafel vond ik dat heel raar, maar deze mensen bleven gelukkig heel rustig en lieten gewoon zien wannner ze hadden gepint en idd ze hadden nog 45 min te gaan, dus alles op orde hebben ze het daar niet, want ik kon langer blijven zitten en mij stoorde ze bijvoorbeeld niet maar we zaten vol dus gewoon netjes na 2 uur vertrokken.

Conclusie voor mij:

Voor mij gezin niet voor herhaling helaas, Vond vóór het geld dat je betaald niet gelijk staan in verhouding met het kwaliteit eten daar, vele bakjes niet goed gevuld en sommige vond ik niet smakelijk eruit zien. Alles ligt heel dicht bij elkaar waardoor je niet voldoende afstand kunt houden met andere gasten die zich nergens van aantrekken corona of niet, daar leek het of corona...
