Bread and more — Restaurant in Curaçao

The quality of the food, especially the pizza, was very poor. The dough was like a thin dry cracker and it tastes like they are using a cheap, sweet, store-bought sauce. We thought before coming to Coral Estates, worst comes to worst, we could have pizza here when we were in a pinch, but it was hard to eat. The positive reviews about the pizza here genuinely confuse me. We also tried their breakfast but with the stale bread and canned fruit it seems they’re using in their fruit bowl, it was disappointing. If you eat here in the evening, make sure you use plenty of bug spray because the mosquitos can be pretty intense. The service is very efficient & friendly & the baked goods are as good as anywhere least to expect on a tropical island. In particular the gluten free baked goods (very hard to find in Curacao) are exceptional with a good selection food / sandwiches tasty & creative. The food prep takes a little patience but you are on vacation so relax!

As I wait for my order of two sandwiches I notice at least 4-5 people in the kitchen, 2 at the front taking orders and a total of 1-2 customers maximum at any given point coming in to place an order to also commit to the over 20-minute waiting period. The bell rings and out comes an order for 2. Another 10 minutes and another order for 2. Evidently prepping more than one order at a time is...
