Paddy's Food & Drinks — Restaurant in Doetinchem

We weren't sure what to expect from an Irish restaurant in the Netherlands, but as soon as we walked in we felt as though we had flown to Ireland! It was also decorated beautifully for Christmas. The BEST part, though, was the service. Incredible.

I was happy to be able to enjoy Guiness from the tap which was delicious, and my partner had a wonderful red wine. Bread and olives were served immediately.

I ordered a quiche and my partner had the tournados (filet mignon). Many side dishes were provided with each meal. He loved his meal, but I was less happy with mine. To me, it was not a quiche. It was more like a ratatouille pie (with a LOT of onions). I was expecting an egg quiche with some vegetables but that isn't what this dish is. I was still happy to eat most of the side dishes and fries, so it didn't ruin our experience. I would just order something else next time.

Back to the service. Restaurant service in the Netherlands isn't usually great. This place is the exception to that rule. The staff could not be more attentive. Onlangs heb ik gedineerd bij Paddy's, en ik moet zeggen dat het een fijne ervaring was van begin tot eind. Vanaf het moment dat ik binnenliep, werd ik begroet met een warm welkom, wat de toon zette voor de avond met vriendelijke en professionele service.

Het hoogtepunt van mijn bezoek was ongetwijfeld de goede kwaliteit van het eten. Het menu bood een gevarieerd scala aan opties. Ze hadden ook een mooie selectie bieren.

Wat echt opviel, was de geweldige service die werd geboden. Ze zorgden ervoor dat mijn eet ervaring plezierig was. De vriendelijke houding en professionaliteit deden me de hele avond als een gewaardeerde gast voelen.
